Since we are big on the "design process" here at Summit and always improving, I decided to try something new on the agenda. I started to have the students copy some questions that you can use at home to review what we are doing in class. Any discussion that follows those questions would be fabulous, whether they are exactly related to what we did in class or not. This may be a more clear way to inform you of what we did during the day. As always, we write the daily classwork in black pencil and any howework is written in colored pencil. This way you can always tell what is to be done at home. Please remember to check the agenda and sign it every night. If your child does not show it to you, he/she signs the reminder binder the next day. This is also a great place to write notes for me. Most of the time when a student comes back without it being signed, they also have not done the night's homework. If homework is not completed, they also sign the reminder binder. Please be sure to check with your child each night.
