As we learn the different programs, your child may start working on them at home, but i-Ready will remain the technology focus of the homework. Should you need more work or other ways to practice, please use these sites. We may also be adding other programs to the sheet by writing on the back.
Today we learned how to "listen to reading" using http://www.raz-kids.com. In order to progress through the reading levels, your child must listen to a story, read a story, and pass the quiz for each book. Your child should feel ready to take the quiz before going to it. The expectation is to get 80% or greater for the quiz.
It is very important that the students without headphones bring them in ASAP as we are getting into our reading and math rotations and using the technology on a regular basis. Most of our programs and devices need the headphones so the class does not become distracted by the extra noise.
