Reminders
- Please remember to bundle your child up for the cold. Yes, they are inside most of the day, from the bus to the car and into the building, then in reverse to go home, BUT, there is always the possibility that it will be warm enough for us to go to the playground (meaning the real feel temperature is above 32 degrees). Remind your child that when we are outside, they must keep their coats on their bodies and zipped up. Monday and Tuesday are looking to be warm enough to go outside to play.
- Homework is vital! Even when it is a computer or iPad homework, please be sure your child is getting on and completing the assignment. Need more homework to do? Take advantage of those online programs and have your child spend more time on them. Don't forget that we started taking our common assessments online this year and in 3rd grade, the children will be taking the online PARCC assessments. They need to be able to type and can be practicing using our Type to Learn subscription.
Shout outs!
- I would like to acknowledge Nashwa and Elnatan for passing all of their addition facts and all of their subtraction facts already this year! They are now moving on to multiplication!
- Kudos to Brianna for finishing all of her addition facts today and moving on to subtraction! Awesome-sauce!
