Friday we had our "Market Day Pie Sale" kick-off! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and all each child needs to do is commit to selling 2 pies! Believe me when I say they are worth it! DELICIOUS! Below is the flyer that explains the sale!
| Here is the weekly agenda and brain boost.
We also have assigned the October STEM Challenge in second grade. This month the children are to create their Fall Foliage Festival STEM costume. Each child will be graded on the presentation of the project and not the project itself. It is important to help your child as needed, but to let him/her complete the project on his/her own using the design process. Make sure to also let him/her have fun! Below is the sheet sent home on Friday about the project.
Don't forget that you can access all the homework through the "Homework Page" on this website. You will need to enter the password. If you need the password, please email me and I will be happy to share it with you again! |
